Carl Osborn, DO, PC

Carl Osborn has specialized in treating patients suffering from acute and chronic pain since 1985. He combines traditional and alternative methods to achieve the best possible results. Dr. Osborn is known internationally as a prolotherapy instructor, is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management, and a member of the board of directors for the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine. He is also a member of the International Spine Intervention Society and is board certified in family practice.

Dr. Osborn also has a passion for helping men naturally balance their hormones. Although andropause, sometimes called male menopause, is not as widely recognized as the female menopause, the hormone-related changes experienced by some men can be equally distressing. Dr. Osborn does a thorough analysis including blood tests to determine hormone levels. He then develops a treatment plan, if needed, using bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Once hormones are properly balanced, men report less fatigue, increased libido, increased energy, and increased strength and endurance.

“Health is more than just the absence of disease. It is the opportunity to live a life free of pain, and to fully enjoy all that life has to offer. My goal in treatment is to provide each person that freedom.”

Dr. Osborn has been selected as president of the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine (AAOM) effective May 1, 2008. The AAOM is a worldwide not-for-profit organization, which provides information and educational programs as well as teaches and trains comprehensive nonsurgical treatment and diagnosis of musculoskeletal problems. Receiving this recognition is an honor, and we congratulate Dr. Osborn on this prestigious appointment.
