Susan Preslar has a state-of-the-art gynecological practice that focuses on optimizing women’s overall health and well-being with a special focus on sexual health.
Susan provides general gynecological care to females of all ages—teens to post menopause and every age in between. Whether it is menstrual cramps, PMS, hot flashes, insomnia, yeast infections, PCOS, irregular or heavy bleeding, vaginal dryness, sexual dysfunction, fatigue or other female complaints, Susan evaluates hormone balance and performs a thorough gynecological exam before prescribing contraception, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy or other prescription medications, and/or recommending supplements and lifestyle changes.
A graduate of New York Medical College/Pace University’s Nurse Practitioner Program, Susan did her FNP preceptorship at Harvard Community Health Plan Cambridge, MA in 1980. She brings a wealth of clinical experience to all her patients as well as the most up-to-date equipment and training to evaluate women who are frustrated with their lack of orgasm or arousal, low desire for sex, vaginal dryness, lack of sensation, or pain during sexual activity. She blends the best of what nutrition, fitness, and medicine have to offer, and her patients are effusive in their appreciation of recapturing their energy, optimism and sexuality.
Women are not simple, and It takes two evenings of classes to begin to say all of what there is to say about women and sexual desire, arousal and orgasm. For a schedule of these uplifting, informative and inspiring classes, called “In the Bedroom” classes, go to www.thepromiseofthebedroom.com. Women, who were hesitant to come to the class because sex is such a private aspect of their lives, report afterwards that they are glad they took this chance.
